Michael Dorman has signed with Verve for representation, Variety has learned exclusively. Dorman continues to be repped by Entertainment 360, Nathan Culliver in Australia, and attorney Jamie Feldman.

Michael Dorman has signed with Verve for representation, Variety has learned exclusively. Dorman continues to be repped by Entertainment 360, Nathan Culliver in Australia, and attorney Jamie Feldman.

Variety recently reported that Dorman has joined the cast of the Amazon dark comedy pilot “The Nightbeast” alongside series lead Tatiana Maslany. Maslany stars as a suburban mother who begins an affair with the boogeyman living under her son’s bed. Dorman will star as Maslany’s character’s husband.

Dorman is perhaps best known in the for starring in the Paramount+ series “Joe Pickett” and the Amazon Prime Video series “Patriot.” Dorman played the title role in “Joe Pickett,” which ran for two seasons and was based on the character created by novelist C.J. Box. In “Patriot,” Dorman starred as CIA intelligence officer John Tavner alongside Kurtwood Smith, Michael Chernus, and Kathleen Munroe. That show also ran for two seasons at the streamer.

The show is set in the Australian Outback and follows a power struggle at the world’s largest cattle station

In film, his credits include “The Invisible Man” with Elisabeth Moss, “The Water Diviner” with Russell Crowe, “Killer Elite” with Jason Statham and Robert De Niro, and “Daybreakers” with Ethan Hawke.
