Jay-Z moved into music management roles, becoming President of the Def Jam label, signing Rihanna and fostering Kayne West's career. Jay-Z has continued to expand his business interests, starting Roc Nation, an entertainment company, a clothing line and a sports bar chain.
In 2008 Jay-Z married singer Beyoncé Knowles, the couple have collaborated together on a number of projects.
