American Idol Season 21 is coming to an end in this Sunday’s three-hour finale, airing live coast-to-coast. In addition to hearing the Top 3 singers perform one last time, the episode will also feature guest performances from several popular artists.
American Idol Season 21 Finale Performers
During the most recent episode, the competition was narrowed down to the Top 3 artists — Colin Stough, Megan Danielle, and Iam Tongi. On Sunday, they’ll perform during the finale for the last chance to earn America’s votes and win the competition. Let’s take a look at which guest performers are also taking the stage Sunday night.

Daigle surprised finalist Megan Danielle during her audition performance of “You Say.” Now the singer (who previously competed on American Idol herself) is returning to the show. Could a duet with Megan be planned?
2. Ruben Studdard and Clay Aiken
This Sunday marks 20 years since Ruben Studdard won Season 2 of Idol, with Clay Aiken as the runner-up. To celebrate the anniversary, the two friends will be taking the stage together during Sunday night’s finale.
3. Jazmine Sullivan
This singer’s songs, such as “Bust Your Windows,” have been performed by a few contestants on talent shows in recent years. Now Sullivan herself is taking the stage during the American Idol finale.
4. Kylie Minogue
Australian pop star Kylie Minogue will also be taking the stage during Sunday’s finale. The show teased that she’ll be performing her new single “Padam Padam.”

Sunday’s finale will also feature a guest performance from none other than James Blunt. The singer teased that he’ll be performing with finalist Iam Tongi, who sang his song “Monsters” during auditions.
6. TLC
Tionne “T-Boz” Watkins and Rozonda “Chilli” Thomas of the famous group TLC will also be taking the stage to perform during Sunday’s finale.
7. Jelly Roll
The finale episode will also feature a performance from Jelly Roll. The show teased that the artist will be bringing the fire to the stage.
8. Kevin Cronin
Kevin Cronin, lead vocalist for the band REO Speedwagon, is also on the list of guest performers for the Season 21 finale.
9. Keith Urban
It was previously announced that country star Keith Urban (who served as an American Idol judge from Seasons 12 to 15) would be mentoring the Top 3 contestants for the finale as well as taking the stage to perform.
10. Pitbull
It’s also been reported that Pitbull will take the stage during Sunday night’s finale.
11. Ellie Goulding
Ellie Goulding is another artist who has been reported as a guest performer during the finale.
12. Lainey Wilson
Country star Lainey Wilson is also set to take the stage as Season 21 of American Idol wraps up.
